OBITUARY..........
Margaret Ida Brandon Currence, 81, died February 15, 1962 in Tampa, Florida while visiting her son. She was born August 29, 1880 to the late James Judson Brandon amd Martha Ann Kincaid Brandon and was a native of York County, SC. She was the widow of John Labon Currence who died November 13, 1943.
She was a prominent Gastonian, a member of First Presbyterian Church, Gastonia, NC, a member of the American War Mothers, a member of the United Daughters of Confederacy and a member of the GoldenYears Club.
Survivors include three sons, six daughters, one brother and two sisters.
Interment was in Bethel Church Cemetery, Clover, SC.
