Sacred/TO THE/memory of/JOHN CURRANCE/who departed this life/August 2nd 1827/aged 74 years./In Wisdom's ways we spent our days/Much comfort we did find;/But he is gone, in dust he lays./And I am left behind.
Description:
Marble tablet with a granite lawn-style marker in front of the tablet. The granite marker has the following inscription: "JOHN CURRANCE/1753-1827/PATRIOT".
