In/memory/OF/James Hill/Who departed this life/Sept. 17th 1835. In the 77th/year of his age./Far from the care of wild ambition he lived/Peaceably resigned he died.
Description:
Soapstone tablet with a granite lawn-style marker in front of the tablet. The granite marker has the following inscription: "JAMES HILL/1759-1835/PATRIOT"
