Marble monument. The Kerr family erected this monument in 1995 because the original gravestone was damaged beyond repair. The east side (back) of the monument bears the following: "The original tombstone of/this Revolutionary War/Veteran being damaged/beyond repair in 1995,/his Kerr Family erected/this replacement marker/including so much of the/original inscription as/then possible to verify".
