Epitaph:
In/Memory of/JAMES JACKSON/Who was drowned/The 17th 1807 aged 22 years./My day is come my glass is run/My resting place is here./Now caution take before too late/For death is always near.

**On backside of tablet:
The tyrant death came [illegible] in/And me the watery grave did show/And in my youth did conquer me/And laid my visage low.
