Mrs. Ethel Johnston Campbell, wife of Mr. William Campbell, of Yorkville, route two, died at her home last Friday evening, following an illness of only a few days. Mrs. Campbell was in the 36th year of her age. She was for many years a member of Allison Creek Presbyterian church, and was well known as a lady of the highest Christian character. In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven children, as follows: Annie, John, William, Emma, Lyles, Floyd and Myrtle. Mrs. Campbell is also survived by her father, Dr. David Johnson, and three sisters, Mrs. ?.A. Bigger, of Rock Hill; Mrs. Charles Price, of Steele Creek, N.C., and Mrs. John Campbell, of Yorkville, route two. After funeral services at the home at 11 o'clock, Saturday morning, the body was laid to rest in Bethel cemetery.
