OBITUARY..
Mrs. Margaret R. Brandon, 71, of Clover died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1963, in a Columbia Hospital. She was born Feb. 14, 1892, daughter of the late William B. Riddle and Louise Patrick Riddle. She was the widow of the late Forest Craig Brandon.
Funeral was held Friday at 11:00 AM at Bethel Presbyterian Church, where she was a member and a former Sunday School teacher. The Pastor, Rev. Kenneth Newman, officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors included two sons, J. W. Brandon and Foster C. Brandon of Clover; two daughters, Mrs. Lacy K. Ford and Mrs. Clauson Barnett of Clover; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and her stepmother, Mrs. Bessie J. Riddle of Gastonia, NC. Also, eight sisters survive, Mrs. F. M. Howell, Mrs. E. N. Caldwell, Mrs. Harold Hooks and Mrs. Frank Harkey all from Gastonia, NC; Mrs. Roy Warren and Mrs. Miles Bigger of Charlotte, NC; Mrs. Eva R. Griffin of Chicago, ILL; and Mrs. Fred Ferguson of Clover.
The body will remain at M. L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home until the hour of the service.
