OBITUARY:
Mrs. Betty Jo Wallace McCarter, 87, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away July 28, 2025, at White Oak Manor, Rock Hill, South Carolina, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. McCarter was born April 15, 1938, to the late Thomas Lewis Wallace and Hazel Irene Jenkins Wallace. She was retired from the Clover School District and a longtime member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, South Carolina.
Survivors are her husband, James F. McCarter, a daughter, Terry McCarter Burton, a granddaughter and a brother.
Preceded in death was a son-in-law, Arthur Kevin Burton.
Funeral service was held at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, South Carolina with Rev. Chris Donnelly officiating. Burial was private at the Bethel Church Cemetery.
