OBITUARY:
Mr. William Thomas (Billy) Ferrell, 88, of York, South Carolina, passed away November 6, 2023, at his home.
Mr. Ferrell was born August 22, 1935, in Cayce, South Carolina, to the late Elva Oscar and Mary Propes Ferrell. He was an Air National Guard Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great grandson, Matthew Alex Newbern.
He was survived by his wife of 68 years, Geralyn Griffin Ferrell, a daughter and a son, eight grandchildren, and four greatchildren.
A Memorial Service was held November 8, 2023. at Christ Ridge PCA, Fort Mill, South Carolina with Rev. Michael Dixon officiating. Burial was held April 6, 2024, in Bethel Church Cemetery, Clover, South Carolina.
