OBITUARY:
Mr. Keith Lawson Brackett, 66, Clover. South Carolina, passed away December 2, 2023, at his home. He was born November 4, 1957, in Belmont, North Carolina, to the late Joe Lawson and Katherine Marcelle Mims Brackett.
Keith was an active member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, South Carolina, where he served as a Deacon and a member of the Good Samaritan Committee. Always a giver, he was generous with his time and resources to his church, his family, and anyone else he knew of who was in need.
He was the owner/operator of Progressive Plastics, Clover, South Carolina, for 37 years. He was in the process of becoming "working retired" and was extremely proud of the way his sons, Brett and Brice, handled the daily operations. His favorite hobby was loving and caring for his favorite girls, Shirley and Lawson. The arrival of his first grandchild in 2018 signaled the next phase of life. His grandchildren brought him great joy and he counted them as his life's greatest accomplishments.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, South Carolina, with interment in Bethel Church Cemetery. Rev. Trent P. Thomas and Mr. Gunther Griffin officiated at the service.
Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Shirley Hawkins Brackett; sons, Brett and Brice, one daughter, Lawson, one brother, and five grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter.
