OBITUARY:
William "Billy" Calvin Kolb, Jr.,76, passed away May 29, 2023, at home in Lake Wylie, South Carolina.
He was born July 1, 1946 in Sumter, South Carolina, to the late William Calvin and Frances Eargle Kolb. He was a member of Redeeming Grace PCA, Lake Wylie. South Carolina, where he was a Deacon Emeritus. Billy graduated from Edmunds High School, Class of 1964, and worked many years in sales in the commercial tire industry.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Rodgers Kolb, of 57 years, a son, William Charles Kolb, a sister, Beverly Kolb Choate and a son-in-law, Matt Samojeden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, and a sister.
Funeral service was held June 2, 2023, at Redeeming Grace PCA, Lake Wylie, South Carolina, with the Revs. Doug Stelzig and Devin Kahan officiating. Interment was in the Bethel Church Cemetery Clover, South Carolina.
