OBITUARY:
Ramona Morton Purser, 78, passed away May 25, 2018 in Pineville, North Carolina. She was born June 3, 1939 to William Everett and Mildred Parnell Morton and grew up on a dairy farm in Albermarle, North Carolina. She was a member of Redeemimg Grace PCA, Lake Wylie, South Carolina and a previous long time member of Third Presbyterian Church, Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ramona earned a RN degree in nursing and spent many years serving as Charge Nurse at Mercy Hospital, Charlotte, North Carolina, where she received many accolades including CMC Mercy Hospital Employee of the Year. She was a devoted mother and caregiver to many, and the memory of her life will be a blessing to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kevin Morton.
She was survived by her five children, two sisters and her beloved grandson, Jacob.
