In Memory of/James McEwen Hall Adams/Who departed this life July the 9th 1804/Aged 7 Months/Weep not fond parents for your darling Son/But acquiesce in what your God has done/Tis the kind hand which does one infant save/That sends another to an early grave/O could he now behold your tears of grief/He'd point you to the SAVIOUR for relief;/Bid ye pursue Religion's sacred ways/Which leads to blisful everlasting day.
