OBITUARY......
Hobert Harrol Long died May 16, 2007 at CMC Mercy, Charlotte, NC.
He was born February 21, 1934 to the late Merrick and Nellie Long in Cherokee County, Georgia.
Funeral service was held May 18, 2007 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, SC with Revs. John A. Gess, Michael D. Lee and Scott Patterson officiating.  Interment was in Bethel Church Cemetery.
Mr. Long was an US Army Veteran of the Korean War.  He was a retired supervisor at Sonoco Products, Charlotte, NC and a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church where he was active with the Mission Team. He went on several Mission Trips to Monterrey, Mexico. Hobert was a good husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Helga Schnall Long, a son, David Long, a daughter, Sylvia L. Price, four grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers.
