OBITUARY.....
Roy Randolph Harper, Jr., 86, passed away April 24, 2009 in Tampa, FL. Mr. Harper was born March 5, 1923 in York County, SC. He was of the Presbyterian faith and was an Elder at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover,SC in earlier years when he was a resident of York County. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Katherine Anita Harper and Cynthia Harper Gallar.
Mr. Harper was a retired executive frm Union Oil Company of California, having worked there for 37 years. Roy first retired to Atlanta, and moved to Tampa in 1985.
Burial was held at the Bethel Church Cemetery. Survivors included his wife, Katie Hughes Harper, two daughters, one grandson and several other close relatives.
