OBITUARY:
Ralph Bigger (Buck) Harper, Jr., 82, of Lake Wylie, South Carolina passed April 8, 2015 at home.
He was born October 2, 1932 to the late Ralph Bigger Harper, Sr. and Kathleen Carithers Harper. He worked at the Bleachery, Rock Hill, South Carolina and retired from Westinghouse after 25 years. "Buck" was a veteran with the US Navy, served as a volunteer firefighter with the Bethel Fire Department, and was a member of Clover Alpine Lodge # 208. He was a member of Scherer Memorial Presbyterian Church, Lake Wylie, South Carolina and served as an Elder and as a Deacon at that church.
Mr. Harper's funeral service was held April 11, 2015 at Scherer Memorial Presbyterian Church with Rev. Aaron Morgan officiating. Burial was private and he was interred at Bethel Church Cemetery, Clover, South Carolina.
He was survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Rebecca Tiller Harper, two daughters, one son, four sisters, one brother, four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
