OBITUARY.....
Howard Leslie "Boot" Clinton, Sr., 80, died November 22, 2000 at his home in Clover, SC.
He was a native of York County, SC. Mr. Clinton was born September 25, 1920 to the late Robert Oscar and Hattie Campbell Clinton. He was the husband of the late Margaret Hall Clinton. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church,  Clover, SC, where he served as a Deacon and at the time of his death was a Deacon Emeritus. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in World War II. He was a farmer and retired from York County.
Funeral service was held November 25, 2000 at Bethel Presbyterian Church with the Revs. John A. Gess and Jonathan A. Dorst. Interment was in Bethel Church Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Howard Leslie Clinton, Jr. and John Campbell Clinton, two sisters, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
