Biography

OBITUARY:
Hilda Sager Robertson, 88, of Lake Wylie, South Carolina died February 8, 2008 at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia, North Carolina.
Mrs. Robertson was born November 23, 1919 in Woodstock, Virginia to the late William Dallas and Bess Siebert Sager.  She graduated from Woodstock High School and continued her education at Mary Washington College for two years before she transferred to Erskine College, Due West, South Carolina. She graduated from Erskine in 1941 with a degree in music and secondary in school education. During this time she met her husband, Richard Ervin Robertson, and they were married on May 10, 1942 in Miami, Florida. Mrs. Robertson retired from the Employment Security Commission of North Carolina where she worked as an interviewer. She also had a love of music and she shared her love by teaching music and giving piano lessons out of her home.
Funeral service was held February 11, 2008 at Scherer Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Rick Lindsay officiating.  Interment was in Bethel Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Richard Ervin Robertson, two sons, one sister and four grandchildren.
