Description:
Granite die on base with he shares with his wife Margaret K. Jackson. He has a bronze plaque mounted to a polished granite lawn-style marker flush the ground. The bronze plaque has the following verbiage: "JESSE WIDEMAN JACKSON/US ARMY/WORLD WAR II/JUL 17 1925 [Cross] AUG 28 2009".

OBITUARY......
Jesse Wideman Jackson. 84, died August 28, 2009 at Eden Gardens, Rock Hill, SC.
Mr. Jackson was born July 17, 1925 to the late Roy and Nancy Boyd Jackson.  He was the widower of Margaret Ruth Kendrick Jackson.
He was an active member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, SC where he served as a Trustee, Deacon, Elder, and Clerk of the Session and at the time of his death was an Elder Emeritus.
Mr. Jackson was retired from the US Postal Service as a rural mail carrier.  He was a Veteran of the US Army, life long farmer, and a member of the Clover Optimist Club. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing with his many friends.
Funeral service was held August 30, 2009 at Bethel Presbyterian Church with Revs. John A. Gess and Michael D. Lee officiating. Interment was in Bethel Church Cemetery.
Survivors were one brother, William G. Jackson, and one sister, Nancy J. Hawfield and several nieces and nephews.
