Biography

OBITUARY.........
Sarah Atwood Harper Davis, 80, died November 8, 1972 in a Gastonia, NC Nursing Home.  She was born January 12, 1892 in York County, SC, to the late James Shields Harper and Mary Emily Currence Harper. She was the widow of William Guy Davis. She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, SC.
Survivors were two daughters,  Mrs. William (Emily) Lindsay and Mrs. Pressley (Helen) Riddle,  one brother, Brown Harper, and two grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at Bethel Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Vernon N. West officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Church Cemetery.
