OBITUARY.......
Betty Davis Riddle, 67, died February 26, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.
Betty was born August 6, 1941 in Charlotte to the late Robert Pressley and Helen Harper Davis Riddle.  She was a graduate of Clover High School and received her BS Degree and her Master of Arts in Teaching,
both from Winthrop College. Betty began her career with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools as a P.E.Teacher and later was Principal of a number of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.  She retired as Senior Regional Assistant Superintendent in 1997 afer holding a number of positions in the CMS Superintendent's office.  She served as Superintendent for Clover School District from 1999-2003.
Funeral service for Ms. Riddle was held February 28, 2009 at Bethel Presbyterian Church with Revs. John A. Gess and Michael D. Lee officiating.  Interment was in Bethel Church Cemetery.
Survivors included four first cousins and numerous second cousins and Betty's extended family.
