Beneath this Tomb is deposited/Dr. JOHN ALLISON wife & daughter/Dr. John Allison was born Feb. 20th 1766/and died June 26th 1804/Elizabeth Allison/was born Feb. 27th 1766/and died Dec. 24th 1805/Eliza H. Allison/was born April 21st 1792/and died Jan. 3rd 1809/How dark the shade how deep the cell/Where those dear bodies lies/And none but God himself can tell/The moment they shall rise/Altho their bodies destroyed be/They then shall [illegible]/Oh! Grave where is they victory/Oh, Death where is thy sting.
