Biography

OBITUARY:
Mr. James Robert Presswood, Sr., 65, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away February 25, 1956,
after suffering a heart attack.
Mr. Presswood was born June 10, 1890, to the late Mr. Watzle Presswood and Mrs. Jannie Burton Presswood. His wife, Mrs. Cordie Mae Lloyd Presswood, died in 1953.
Mr. Presswood was a retired textile supervisor and had lived in Cramerton, North Carolina, from 1916 until 1940, when he retired.  He was a member of the South Fork Masonic Lodge.
He was survived by three sons, seven daughters, a number of grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
The funeral was held February 28, 1956, at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, South Carolina, with Rev. David Coblentz officiating, and was assisted by Rev. C. D. Patterson, Pastor of Cramerton Presbyterian Church.  Burial was in Bethel Church Cemetery with Full Masonic rites.
Carothers Funeral Home served the Presswood family.
