OBITUARY......
Mrs. Clyde Harper, 85, of Rt. 2, York, SC, died Friday night at a Gaffney Nursing Home.
She was born  August 6, 1879, in York County, a daughter of the late William N. and Margaret Thorn Stewart. She was a member of Scherer Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Sunday from Bethel Presbyterian Church by her Pastor, Rev. Kenneth Newman. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The body will be at M. L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home until the hour of service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 PM tonight.
Survivors include two sons, D. M. Harper of Caldwell, NJ and J. E. Harper of York, four daughters, Mrs. B. R. Love, Sr. of Clover, Mrs. Howard Meek of Gastonia, NC and Mrs. C. T. Meek and Mrs. James Banner, both of Belmont, NC.; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; a brother, R. A. Stewart, of Belmont, NC; and a sister, Mrs. J. B. Hoke of Newton, NC.
