OBITUARY.....
Robert Hartman McCarter, 68, died May 2, 1999 at his home in Clover, SC.
He was a native of York County, SC and was born November 11, 1930 to Flossie Mae Sipe McCarter and the late Barber Finley McCarter. Mr. McCarter was an US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and was retired from MTS of Clover.  He was a member of the Bethel Fire Department.  He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, SC and served as a Deacon.
Funeral service was held at Bethel Presbyterian Church with the Revs. John A. Gess and Jonathan A. Dorst officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Church Cemetery.
Survivors included his mother, one son, four daughters, six brothers, four sisters and nine grandchildren.
