Martha Butler Riddle Feb 22, 1926 - Apr 4, 2007

OBITUARY:
Mrs. Martha "Martie"  Butler Riddle, 81, of Elloree, South Carolina, and widow of Sam Boyce Riddle, passed away April 4, 2007, in a Columbia Hospital.
Mrs. Riddle was born February 22, 1926, in Corsicana, Texas, to William C. Butler and Carrie Cauthan Butler.  She was an active member of Summerton Presbyterian Church, Summerton, South Carolina.
Mrs. Riddle was retired from Civil Service and a former Realtor in the Santee area.  She was an avid golfer and a member of Santee-Cooper Country Club.
In addition to her husband, Sam Boyce Riddle, she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Survivors were three stepdaughters, seven grandchildren, three sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held April 6, 2007, at Summerton Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Garland Hart officiating.  Interment was at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, South Carolina.
Avinger Funeral Home, Holly Hill, South Carolina, served the Riddle family.
