Biography

OBITUARY:
Mr. Albert Neal Brandon, 57, of Columbia, South Carolina, formerly of York County, died August 1, 1957, at a Columbia hospital, after an illness of several weeks.
Mr. Brandon was born April 15, 1900 in Gaston County, North Carolina, to the late Joseph Alexander Brandon and Ella Jane Brandon. He had made his home in York County for a number of years and for the last 18 months had lived in Columbia.
He was an employee of the John G. Richards Industrial School.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Willie Boyd Brandon, three daughters, four sons, two grandchildren and one sister.
Funeral service was held August 3, 1957 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Clover, South Carolina, with Rev. J. Haskell Dulin and Dr. Tilden Scherer officiating. Burial was in Bethel Church Cemetery.
