Description:
Soapstone tablet with granite lawn-style marker in front of the tablet. His name is spelled "Rathford" on the tablet. The granite marker has the following inscription: "TO THE MEMORY OF/MOSES RATCHFORD/WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE DEC 6TH 1821/IN HIS 67TH YEAR/ADIEU TO ALL BOTH FAR AND NEAR/FAREWELL MY WIFE AND CHILDREN DEAR/FOR MY IMMORTAL SOUL IS FLED/I MUST BE NUMBERED WITH THE DEAD". In front of the granite lawn style marker is a smaller granite lawn-style marker with the following inscription "MOSES/RATCHFORD/1754-1821/PATRIOT".
