Description:
Government issue military-style marble gravestone with a large granite lawn-style marker slush with the ground. Mounted on the lawn style marker is a bronze plaque with the following verbiage: "GEORGE C. BRANDON/PVT CAPT KANAPAUX'S CO/LAFAYETTE ARTILLERY/SC LIGHT ARTILLERY/CONFEDERATE STATES ARMY/NOV 18 1845 [CROSS] NOV 10 1924
