MR. R.H. McCULLY DEAD.
End Came at Home of Rev. C.W. McCully in Steele Creek This Morning - Burial at Bethel This Afternoon.
Mr. Robert Hope McCully died this morning at 3 o'clock at the home of his son, Rev. Carl Wilson McCully, paster of Central Steele Creek Presbyterian church. Mr. McCully married Miss Mary Wilson, a sister of Col. R.N. Wilson, of Gastonia. He was 75 years of age and is survived by one son, with whom he made his home, and one daughter, Mrs. Grier Leslie, of Leslie, S.C.; also by three sisters, Miss Fannie McCully, of Central Steele Creek; Miss Jane McCully, of Bowling Green, and Mrs. J.B. Jackson, of Clover.
He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian church for many years and at 3 o'clock this afternoon his remains will be interred beside those of his beloved wife in Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. R.N. Wilson, Miss Eliza Barnett, Mr. and Mrs. White Ware and perhaps a number of others from Gastonia will attend the funeral.
